Sultana is more and more outspoken as the books go on. I think because she only hits on the times where she… lectured isn’t the right word but it’s close, lectured her husband and other family members about women’s rights. Otherwise, she led her life. Not an ordinary life, based on the $380,000 she spent in one store in one afternoon, but still a somewhat normal life. I think she comes across a bit preachy at times, but that’s okay because of the importance of her message. One thing bothered me, she really needed to slap that brother of hers, I wanted to fly over there and slap the moron many times while I was reading this. (Yes, I realize she couldn't, still I really wanted her to.)
