Must have been much more shocking when it was published over 40 years ago. Interesting scenario on page 54- 5000 years from now, archaeologist find fragments of the Statue of Liberty and decide it's an unknown divinity- maybe a fire god (torch) or a sun god (rays around head). But it's neither. Are doing the same thing with ancient statues that we find?
