Chuck Norris vs. Mr T

Chuck Norris vs. Mr T: 400 Facts About the Baddest Dudes in the History of EVER
By Ian Spector
9781592404650

Some of my favorites:
-Mr T destroyed the Periodic of Elements because he only recognizes the element of surprise.
-When Mr T gets mad, there is no mad left for anyone else.
-The McRib sandwich comes back only when Chuck Norris is in the mood for one.
-The is no control button on Mr T's keyboard, Mr T is always in control.
-If you are within one mile of Chuck Norris and you drop your toast, it will always land butter-side up. Always.
-The only word in the English language that rhymes with orange is Chuck Norris.
-Don't ever call Mr T just T. Someone did, just once.

Chicken Soup for the Surviving Soul

Chicken Soup for the Surviving Soul
By Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen
1558744029 335p

The end was all about cancer, it seemed. Good and important, but I would have liked to read about other survivors as well- surviving personal set-backs in school or at work, coming back from accidents and health crises, rejection in all forms, etc.

Good. Quick read, I think the font was bigger to make it look like a longer book!

Very funny if it's meant as a joke. But if it's meant seriously, it's hysterical!!

Rugby: A Guide for Players, Coaches, and Spectators

Rugby: A Guide for Players, Coaches, and Spectators
By A. Jon Prusmack
178p

The Laws were more interesting to read than the first part of the book. Despite 'spectators' being in the title, this book was only for players and coaches. Since I'm not a player or a coach, nothing applied to me! The Dummies Guide was a much better guide book for spectators.

Ruby for Dummies

Ruby for Dummies
By Matthew Brown, Patrick Guthrie and Greg Growden

Some football references that went over my head since I don't know or care about football. But other than that, this is a great introduction to rugby! Clear, funny, great examples and diagrams.
