And I come to the end of the books. I was upset to find out after reading the afterword that Rea Wilmhurst, the woman who found and compiled these stories, died in 1996. Two years after this book was published. There is one more book of collected short stories that she put out after this, but I already read it. I didn't absolutely adore any story in this collection, I guess because they were all about marriage. But I did like The Twins and a Wedding, The Gossip of Valley View, and Aunt Philippa and the Men.
