Pay Attention to Daniel's Prophecy!

Pay Attention to Daniel's Prophecy!
319p

The first ~274 pages were interesting and insightful. Then it got weird and every verse that was applied became more and more of a stretch.

Duty and Desire

Weird. Only familiar character was Darcy. Felt forced when Elizabeth's name popped up once in awhile, basically I forgot I was reading a P&P book!

Could have been shorter, but still great. I thought Andrew would end up being a bigger link though.

Moses and Monotheism

Moses and Monotheism
By Sigmund Freud 176p

Had such high hopes for this book. I'll just say a couple problems:
pg 38- Moses speech problem may have been that he needed an interpreter, thereby proving that he's Egyptian. #1- it never says interpreter and #2- even if he did need one, that wouldn't mean he's Egyptian. It would mean he was brought up that way. A Chinese child adopted by an Indian couple in India speaks Indian, not Chinese.
pg 155: "It is not even certain, however, that there lies any danger in inbreeding" in section on incest. Seriously??
Way too many instances of "Let us assume", "let us suppose" and "let us say" And he seems to think if he repeats something enough (ie the supposed murder of Moses), it will make it fact in the eyes of the reader.
