Innocent Traitor
Innocent Traitor
By Alison Weir
19 hours (book on CD)
I read reviews that said the voices sounded similar when read, so I guess listening to this on CD was a good choice. Very good, really felt for Jane and was rooting for her, despite knowing how it all would end. Was a bit disturbed at times, especially since things like her husband's treatment of her doesn't seem to be upheld in fact. I could be wrong, but I can't find anything to support that and it seems like a horrible accusation to make even towards someone who is long dead. At least her mother's horrible treatment towards her has basis in reality, sadly enough. Makes you wonder, of course, how things would have turned out for England if the plot had worked.

Emma and Knightley
Emma and Knightley
by Rachel Billington

Was really looking forward to this book, since Emma is my favorite (well, half the time. The other half, Elizabeth Bennett is, of course). Storyline was a bit far-fetched. Seemed like Emma and Knightley were never in the same room, too many circumstances conveniently keeping them from even 10 minutes alone. Liked seeing the characters again, though.
