Dinosaur Plots

Dinosaur Plots

Out of date, since it was written so long ago, so I won't take off for that! I didn't like how he dismissed any belief other than his. The most glaring, for me, was Creationism. There were other smaller ones. He just didn't seem very open to accepting other ideas. Funny guy, though, writing was amusing for the most part.
(And please spare me, don't tell me I'm closed-minded for favoring Creationism, I read this and many other pro-Evolution books and am not convinced.)

Art Lover: A Biography of Peggy Guggenheim

Art Lover: A Biography of Peggy Guggenheim

Good book at tracking where she was and what she bought, doesn't touch overly much on why she did what she did. Her relationship with her children is troubling, but it seems like there must have been some good there for them to still want to be with her. All we read is bad, I think there must be more to it. Definitely interesting on an art historical side, to hear about Ernst and Pollock and Klee and others as secondary characters to someone else for a change!

Best of the series, but not by much. Love Simon, tolerate Moe, love Rowena and Pitte. All around, great book.
